EAU THERMALE Avene XeraCalm A.D: REVIEW

Hi Human!
It's not my first time reviewing skin care products, but I feel like I would never get used to this. I hope you understand what I actually want to say, since products review is something people usually want to read before buying the products.
Few weeks ago, AVENE had a collaboration with Clozette and JAYANATA and they gave me the chance to try and review the XeraCalm A.D products. But before we jump to the review part, I'm just gonna introduce you what is AVENE specialized in.

AVENE is a skin care specialized in helping you reduce the itchiness in your skin. A.D stands for Atopic Dermatitis. The most common cause of itchy skin, even though all types of dry skin can be itchy and the causes of this are varied. It can be because of the type of the skin itself, age, cold and wind, or using too many drying products.
Dry skin is skin that lacking in the water, but really this means that the upper layers of the skin are altered and therefore disrupt the skin's normal function. Thus poorly protected and with insufficient defenses, dry skin becomes irritated and causes itching.
Let's pause the scientific talk. The point is, do you ever feel your skin so itchy that you can't stop scratch it? Well, maybe you just got bitten by mosquitos :p KIDDING! I mean, do you ever feel your skin so dry it becomes itchy? Maybe because you always stay in an Air Conditioned room. My feet skin is so dry it almost look disgustingly scally and it's so itchy. I've tried to put a lot of lotion to moisten my skin but it still didn't reduce the itchiness. When AVENE sent me these products, I feel so happy that maybe, this is the skin product that I need.

The picture above is the picture of XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cleansing Oil. Used for shower and bath as the substitute of soap. It's a soap-free cleansing base that gently cleanses and protects the skin from the drying effects of water. It smells a little weird, but it's because this product is fragrance-free. This cleansing oil also does not sting the eyes so it's super safe to be used by infants and young children. It gives you the comfortable and soft sensations in your skin. (To be honest, I also use it for my face to reduce the itchiness caused by pimples :( and it actually works!)

This one is the lotion. It's called XeraCalm A.D Lipid-Replenishing Cream. You can use it twice a day after the shower and it gives your itchy skin some soothing sensations. This cream also suitable for infants, children, and adults. Ah, I almost forget! The cream is also fragrance-free so the smell is kinda like the cleansing oil.
That's it! Overall, this product is very recommended if you have any problem with dry skin that causes itchiness. You can find it at the nearest JAYANATA or you can buy it online at Sociolla.
